Abstract

Farmers Term of Trade (NTP) Jawa Barat in September 2012 increased by 0.33 percent compared to August 2012 NTP rose from 109.05 to 109.41. This is due to the Index received by farmers (IT) increased by 0.39 percent higher than the index paid peasants (IB) which rose by 0.05 percent. Three of the five agricultural sub-sectors experienced an increase in NTP, namely NTP Food Crops Subsector increased by 0.68 percent from 106.12 to 106.85, NTP Horticulture Subsector rose 0.26 percent from 118.07 to 118.37 and NTP Subsector of Smallholder Plantation increased by 0.22 percent from 116.85 to 117.11, while the other two subsectors experienced a decrease in NTP, namely NTP Fisheries Sub-sector decreased 0.54 percent from 113.01 to 112.41 and NTP Subsector Livestock fell 0.28 percent from 98.80 to 98.52.
