Average Rice Price (GKP) of Jawa Barat at Farmer's Rate May 2013 Up 2.89 Percent

During May 2013, the Gabah Producer Price Survey recorded 197 grain transactions in Jawa Barat spread over 15 selected districts. Observation is dominated by grain quality transactions of Rice Harvest (GKP) that is as much as 152 observations or 77.16 percent. Based on INPRES No. 3 Year 2012 Government Purchase Price (HPP) Unhusked Rice Harvest (GKP) at the farm level for Rp. 3,300, - per kilogram, GKP at milling level Rp. 3.350, - and Dry Mill Grain (GKG) at milling level Rp. 4.150, -. From the observation of Gabah transactions during May 2013 all above the HPP with the lowest GKP Farmers for Rp. 3,400, - per kilogram is found in Cianjur regency (6 observations) and Garut regency (3 observations) for Ciherang, Mikongga and IR 64 varieties, while the highest GKP Farmer Rp. 4.725, - is found in Subang Regency (1 observation) with Ciherang variety.
