Abstract

Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) of hotels in Jawa Barat on average in July 2013 amounted to 39.53 percent, decreased 7.59 points compared to June 2013 which stood at 47.12 percent. ROR star hotel in Jawa Barat in July 2013 amounted to 41.99 percent, down 11.06 points compared to June 2013 which recorded 53.05 percent. The highest ROR in the 3 star hotel that is 51.49 percent, and the lowest in 1 star hotels by 32.94 percent. ROR non-star hotels by 36.54 percent, down 2.57 points compared to June 2013 which recorded 39.11 percent. The highest ROR in hotels with group rooms was more than 41-100 by 46.81 percent, and the lowest in the group of over 100 by 25.84 percent. Average stay length of stay in star hotels for 1.79 days and 1.37 days in non star hotels. Foreign guests stay on average in star hotels for 2.85 days, and in non-star hotels for 2.48 days; while guests from Indonesia stay average for only 1.74 days in star hotels and 1.36 days in non star hotels.
