Abstract

Percentage of poor people in March 2022 was 8.06 percent, an increase of 0.09 percentage points against September 2021 and a decrease of 0.34 percentage points against March 2021.
Number of poor people in March 2022 was 4.07 million people, an increase of 66.1 thousand people from September 2021 and a decrease of 124.4 thousand people from March 2021.
Percentage of the urban poor in March 2021 was 7.82 percent, down to 7.57 percent in March 2022. Meanwhile, the percentage of the rural poor in March 2021 was 10.46 percent, down to 9.88 percent in March 2022.
