Abstract

Open unemployment rate (TPT) of 8.97 percent

The number of labor force in August 2024 was 311,859 people, a decrease of 3,731 people compared to August 2023. The Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) fell by 1.91 percentage points from 68.43 percent to 66.52 percent.

The working population was 283,880 people, an increase of 1,482 people from August 2023.

172,384 people (60.72 percent) worked in formal activities, a decrease of 1,721 people compared to August 2023.

The Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) in August 2024 amounted to 8.97 percent, a decrease of 1.55 percentage points compared to August 2023 which amounted to 10.52 percent.
