November 2024 Year on Year (y-on-y) Inflation of Jawa Barat Province at 1.67 percent

Abstract

In November 2024 there was year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Jawa Barat Province of 1.67 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.96. The highest inflation occurred in Depok Municipality at 1.90 percent with a CPI of 106.55 and the lowest occurred in Cirebon Municipality at 0.85 percent with a CPI of 104.80.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by the increase in the index of expenditure groups, namely: food, beverages and tobacco group by 1.68 percent; clothing and footwear group by 1.35 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 0.44 percent; household supplies, equipment and routine maintenance group by 1.02 percent; health group by 2.48 percent; recreation, sports and culture group by 3.33 percent; education group by 2.36 percent; food and beverage / restaurant supply group by 2.28 percent; and personal care and other services group by 9.64 percent. While the expenditure groups that experienced a decrease in the index, namely: the information, communication and financial services group by 0.42 percent and also the transportation group by 0.07 percent.

The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate of Jawa Barat Province in November 2024 was 0.24 percent, while the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate was 1.29 percent.
