The export value of West Java in November 2024 reached USD 3.21 billion, down 6.40 percent compared to October 2024. Meanwhile, when compared to November 2023, it increased by 6.85 percent.
Non-oil and gas exports in November 2024 reached USD 3.19 billion, down 5.84 percent compared to October 2024. Likewise, oil and gas exports fell by 53.28 percent.
Cumulatively, the export value of West Java from January to November 2024 reached USD 34.73 billion, an increase of 2.86 percent compared to the same period in 2023. Likewise, non-oil and gas exports reached USD 34.42 billion, an increase of 2.88 percent.
The largest decline in the value of non-oil and gas exports in November 2024 compared to October 2024 occurred in Vehicles and their Parts of USD 86.50 million, followed by the Machinery and Mechanical Equipment Group of USD 26.26 million and the Artificial Stafel Fiber Group of USD 12.43 million.
Cumulatively, January-November 2024, the value of exports by sector decreased in the Agriculture and Mining and Other sectors by 12.6 and 23.95 percent, respectively. Meanwhile, the Oil and Gas and Processing Industry sectors increased by 0.24 percent and 2.98 percent, respectively, compared to the same period in the previous year.
The value of West Java's imports in November 2024 reached USD 1.10 billion, down 8.39 percent compared to October 2024. Meanwhile, compared to November 2023, it increased by 4.13 percent.
Non-oil and gas imports in November 2024 reached USD 0.95 billion, down 2.98 percent compared to October 2024. Meanwhile, compared to November 2023, it increased by 15.09 percent.
Oil and gas imports in November 2024 reached USD 144.13 million, down 33.08 percent compared to October 2024. Likewise, compared to November 2023, it decreased by 36.07 percent.
Judging from the 10 main categories of non-oil and gas imports, the largest decline in November 2024 compared to October 2024 occurred in the Vehicle and Parts Group of USD 18.62 million, the Knitted Fabric Group of USD 9.28 million, and the Plastic and Plastic Goods Group of USD 7.95 million.
The largest supplier of non-oil and gas imports during January-November 2024 was occupied by China with USD 3.38 billion (33.33 percent), followed by Japan with USD 1.68 billion (16.61 percent), and South Korea with USD 1.36 billion (13.40 percent).
