Abstract

  • Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is the ratio of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
  • NTP is one of the indicators to see the level of purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchange rate (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed or for production costs.
  • West Java NTP in December 2024 increased by 0.42 percent compared to November 2024, from 111.24 to 111.71.
  • The price index of agricultural production (IT) increased by 0.86 percent and the price index of goods and services consumed by farmers (IB) increased by 0.44 percent.
  • Jawa Barat Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in December 2024 rose by 0.81 percent, while the Cost of Production and Capital Goods Index (BPPBM) rose by 0.05 percent.
