Located at the West Point Hotel Bandung, West Java, BPS Cimahi City held a Regional Coordination Meeting (RAKORDA) for the Initial Data Collection of the 2022 Socio-Economic Registration. This activity was held on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, inviting several speakers. In this RAKORDA activity, resource persons from Bappelitbangda, namely Dr. Huzein Rachmadi A. Md, ST, SE, M. Kes, as Head of the Cimahi City Bappelitbangda, as well as representatives from the Cimahi City Social Service, Mr. Supijan Malik, AKS, MBSSp, Head of Rehabilitation and Social Empowerment at the Social Service and Head of Cimahi City BPS , Ir. Sitti Sarah, MM. with the moderator namely the Head of the Data and Statistics Section in the Information and Public Communication and Statistics Division at the Cimahi City Communications and Information Office, Azis Sumaryono, M.Kom.
The event was attended by the Mayor of Cimahi, Lt. Col. (Ret.) Ngatiyana, SAP., Chairman of the Cimahi City House of Representatives, Chairman of the DPRD: Achmad Zulkarnain, Head of the Communications and Informatics Service, Mohamad Ronny, ST, and Head of the Cimahi City Population and Civil Registration Office, elements of the TNI. POLRI, Camat and Lurah in Cimahi as well as OPD representatives.
Also present, the Head of West Java Province BPS, Mr. Marsudijono S.Si., MM to provide direction in the REGSOSEK Preliminary Data Collection activities. In his direction, the Head of West Java BPS said that this activity was like a Census, but with quite a lot of question variables. So, this is a challenge in itself, especially for the West Java region which has the largest population in Indonesia.
In this activity, the Mayor of Cimahi, Head of West Java BPS, Head of Bappelitbangda Cimahi City and Head of BPS Cimahi City carried out a Kick Off of the Pre-Regsosek Data Collection symbolically by beating a drum. This was followed by the signing of a Joint Commitment to support and succeed in the Pre-Regsosek Data Collection activities and was attended by all participants. In his speech, Ngatiyana said that REGSOSEK is a dream come true, because it has been long awaited for its presence. With this activity, it is hoped that the database of social protection and community empowerment can be updated so that policy making by the government can be right on target.
